Meet Nicole’s Creative Spirit…
It started with juxtaposed colours on canvas…pausing…observing…thinking…I think I see a bridge forming…I don’t hear anything else…I’m a conflicted artist trying to be the one who can just agenda a bridge to form…so…ya…it’s a bridge…without a heartbeat…I abandon it…coming to terms with my artistic enthusiasm and simultaneous disconnect…I’m fighting with the paint brush…clearly I’m not listening…I’ve just thrown white acrylic down in defiance…it looks like a fountain…I raise an eyebrow…I do nothing…telling myself it has to dry anyway…days go by…maybe weeks…I move it…I turn it…I pass by it daily…one day I decide to have a new perspective and just sit there staring at it…listening from a different place…and…oh my gosh…it’s a horse’s eye…I can see the muzzle forming in my clairvoyance…that supposed fountain is the intuitive energetic power of the unicorn…matched with softened equine grace…a cascading mane…shining light into the darkness of the unknown. It has a heartbeat…and it’s beaming a connection to the uncontrollable a-ha smile on my face.
